Lighting an Animated Shot

This was my final project for my Lighting I class, for which we had about 4 work weeks to light and composite an animated shot provided by UTD. The first week was used to search up reference images and backplate for lighting and plan lighting setup for the animated shot using a color key. The next few weeks after were used to light and render in Maya and composite the final renders in Nuke. During the lighting process, we were introduced to techniques for lighting an animated shot such as light constraints and render pass management. Overall, this project gave me a better understanding on lighting an animated shot and taught me to make better decisions on render passes and their management.
